She has enjoyed every moment and has loved sharing her great passion with well over 20,000 inspired and talented children throughout Newcastle and Lake Macquarie!

Her favourite part of her job is watching her students learn and grow in confidence throughout the year to blossom into happy and talented dancers!

Miss Shelley has an extensive dance background which covers over 30 years of study, performing and teaching in a wide spectrum of dance styles.

Ron Heathcote
Ron Heathcote has a dance background which spans 30 years of teaching and performing and he heads the Hip Hop and Breakdancing section of Breakaway Dancers.

His specialities are the American Hip Hop styles which include:
Breakdancing including:
(popping, locking, jamming and BBoying)
New Jack Swing
Afro Funk
New York Jazz.

Over the years Ron Heathcote has performed with many Australian and International acts and solo artists in live concerts and stageshows.

He has enormous and vast experience in the entertainment industry and has performed, choreographed and directed music videos, television programmes and commercials, domestic and Hollywood movies, short films, magazine shoots and promotional work.
